I had a change of heart a few days before the ultrasound. My life-long desire to have my baby's gender be a surprise completely flew out the window and my desire to plan and nest took over.
In the next few days we'll try to get the pictures scanned in and we'll announce whether our baby is the kind that wears pink or the kind that wears blue. Just know, I am thrilled with which kind it is!

We both moved to the Washington DC area in January 2005. We met at a party shortly after we moved there. Our roommates started dating each other, so we began spending time together as their wingmen. In April of that year we all four took a trip to Puerto Rico, and there Brendon and Taryn had their first kiss and began dating. Brendon went home to meet Taryn's family that August, and when Brendon hit a clay pigeon with a 22 rifle Taryn was sold! We left Washington DC in June 2008 to return to campus life. Brendon is getting his Masters in Business Administration at Stanford University, and Taryn is more than thrilled to be living in her home state of California again!

I called my mom and told her and was thrilled-- mostly that you just found out! You know how she kept pressing me to go straight to the tech and find out without you knowing!
I am so excited you found out!!! I always thought it would be so fun to be surprised too but....... I just couldn't take not knowing!!!! 9 months is a long time for me to wait!!!! he he he I can't wait to hear.....I think it's a girl.... probably because of the dream I had about you and your little beauty!!!!
Yeah! Now the real fun in planning starts...picking out clothes and bedding etc.
I always thought mine would be surprises, but I could never stay strong enough not to find out. I don't regret finding out at all.
