After enduring a 24 hour exhausting labor that resulted in a cesarean section delivery, we were rewarded with this cute Little Man. He was born at 3:05 am on July 22nd at 21 inches long and 8 pounds 8 ounces. He has loads of dark hair like his mom, and we think his features are very much a combination of Leishman and Merkley traits. So far his first day he mostly sleeps and looks around exploringly. We totally love him already - but have a hard time believing he is really ours. He is still yet to be named, but we are narrowing down the choices and will for sure have made a selection by the time we leave the hospital this weekend.

And he's one of the better looking newborns out there.
I'm coming out to hold him!!!! I think I just might wait until Brooke delivers too so I can see both the babes.

He is so adorable there is nothing like a newborn. We are so excited for you guys. Sorry you had to go through that long labor. that is no fun. He was a big guy and you were so tiny. way to go. Congrats again can't wait to hear the name and see more pictures!! Glad all is well and he is here.
