The Merkley"s
We both moved to the Washington DC area in January 2005. We met at a party shortly after we moved there. Our roommates started dating each other, so we began spending time together as their wingmen. In April of that year we all four took a trip to Puerto Rico, and there Brendon and Taryn had their first kiss and began dating. Brendon went home to meet Taryn's family that August, and when Brendon hit a clay pigeon with a 22 rifle Taryn was sold! We left Washington DC in June 2008 to return to campus life. Brendon is getting his Masters in Business Administration at Stanford University, and Taryn is more than thrilled to be living in her home state of California again!

sooo cute! I love LOVE wearing mine around....however i get weird looks from all the Iowans (they are like four years behind in fashion I swear)!
ever since you posted that first post on the feathers, i bought a headband, and intend to buy feathers and make one to wear for peder's christmas work party. which unfortunately falls on the same night as aubrey and taryn's (name:eh?) wedding reception. clashing events = not good. the one i intend to duplicate is the thin band with light neutral fuzzy feathers all around from ear to ear. we'll see how it turns out. thanks for planting the seed.

Was I just totally unaware that you were so crafty when we were roomies? Honestly, I would have taken notes - love your creativity, and congrats on your dress being featured!
