Still Alive

Things have been so busy lately I haven't had time to blog. And our computer isn't reading my camera anymore...so I can't upload pictures. I know no one really likes to read a blog post without pictures...so my apologies.

Hopefully soon I will get pictures posted of Brendon's brothers' weddings (yep...both of his brothers got married the same week...it was so much fun!).

And pictures of my big fat huge belly that only has 3 1/2 weeks left. Crazy!

In the meantime I was thrilled to find this blog! I have wanted to make a quiet book for years...this one looks fun.

And So It Begins...

I dropped Brendon off at the airport this afternoon after he finished his second to last final (poor guy had to take the last final on the airplane). He is en route to NYC, where he will spend three days training for his internship this summer. After training he flies back to San Francisco where he will spend his summer interning for Goldman Sachs doing investment banking.

We are not sure how much we will see of each other this summer...investment bankers aren't known to have the best hours. But we have done ridiculously long hours before and survived...we can do it again. I will still be living in Palo Alto for the summer...close to my doctor and hospital. So it was a little hard to say goodbye today.

So the first year of business school is officially behind us...and today starts the summer that will change our lives. Only five and a half more weeks until Little Man Merkley joins us.

Family Time

This past weekend we went home to Gridley again for an eventful weekend.  My brother youngest brother, Blair, returned home from his mission this past week.  My brother, Cody, got engaged to an adorable girl, Kate, this weekend.  And we also had a huge family reunion.  It was great to see everyone!

While the whole clan was gathered we took family pictures.  It's so rare to get everyone together.

My sister-in-law, Trina, took Cody and Kate's engagement pictures this weekend.  There were quite a few that turned out great.  It's not hard when the subjects are so good looking :)
