2...4...6...8...who do we appreciate?
Brendon plays on the Bush/Cheney softball league with the USDA team - "USDA Prime". (He used to work at USDA and for the last three seasons they've let him come back and play...so nice of them). Last night they had a game and the clobbered the poor competition 25-2. Yikes. Brendon helped them out by hitting two home runs! Go Brendon!

So this may sound weird, but I linked to this blog from Amber Jensen's blog and I didn't look at the picture right away, but then I realized... it was Brendon Merkley and his wife. This is Erika and Mason (really just Erika). We met Brendon back in '03 doing the Washington Seminar. It's been fun to read your blog. Just had to say hello!
