My friend Ashlee taught me how to make these adorable miniature clip on bow ties out of grosgrain ribbon. They took like 10 minutes to make and were so fun. Finally, a craft for boys.
Oh my Taryn, I would love to learn how to make them. I have been looking for tie and bow tie patterns. if you know of a good one I would be interested. So cute.
So true, I sometimes make things and give them to my friend next door because she has 4 girls. It is such a bummer that there are not a few more things to make for boys. But you know what, boys give way more hugs and kisses, and they love mom even when they are big boys! Try tie-die t-shirts, that seems to be a favorite around here. Hee Hee
We both moved to the Washington DC area in January 2005. We met at a party shortly after we moved there. Our roommates started dating each other, so we began spending time together as their wingmen. In April of that year we all four took a trip to Puerto Rico, and there Brendon and Taryn had their first kiss and began dating. Brendon went home to meet Taryn's family that August, and when Brendon hit a clay pigeon with a 22 rifle Taryn was sold! We left Washington DC in June 2008 to return to campus life. Brendon is getting his Masters in Business Administration at Stanford University, and Taryn is more than thrilled to be living in her home state of California again!
