Life In Italy

We arrived in Rome Wednesday morning. Beckham was amazing on the flights and he never cried once, but we were all still quite exhausted when we got there. Brendon dropped us off at our little apartment home before he headed off to work. After a quick rest Mom and I headed off to be tourists and have been tourists ever since.

It is a little challenging traveling and touring with a 5 week old, but he is really an amazing baby and we get as much as we can done. We spent a few days in Rome, then took a weekend trip to Florence with Brendon. We loved Florence! I forgot how adorable tit is. Last time I was there we didn't have a whole lot of time in that city. Brendon drove home Sunday night and Mom and I took the train up to Venice. We spent two days touring Venice and wandering the streets and canals before taking the train back to Rome.
The Colosseum
Resting outside St Peter's Basillica
At the Vatican Museum - Sistine Chapel
Mom and Beckham at the Arch of Constantine
Rubbing St Peter's foot...for luck? for blessings? We're not sure - but everyone else was doing it!

I'm so mad you guys didn't do this next summer and we could have come to visit for sure as a graduation trip. Maybe you should just plan to go live somewhere fun for a month next summer too and we promise to make a trip to wherever it is!

I'm so jealous!!! As soon as we're both done popping out babies, you and I are taking a trip there!!!! You'll be an expert by then and you'll probably be speaking Italian. :)
