Our friends Melanie and Nate had their little baby girl yesterday. They named her Scarlett (Melanie and I had a plant named Scarlett in college...I'm sure this is where the name came from...ha ha).
She is a little redhead like her beautiful mom.

We both moved to the Washington DC area in January 2005. We met at a party shortly after we moved there. Our roommates started dating each other, so we began spending time together as their wingmen. In April of that year we all four took a trip to Puerto Rico, and there Brendon and Taryn had their first kiss and began dating. Brendon went home to meet Taryn's family that August, and when Brendon hit a clay pigeon with a 22 rifle Taryn was sold! We left Washington DC in June 2008 to return to campus life. Brendon is getting his Masters in Business Administration at Stanford University, and Taryn is more than thrilled to be living in her home state of California again!
