Yesterday my sample of white fabric came in the mail, so I tested it out by making my first blocks for the quilt exchange. Now I'm 1/10 of the way done...only 18 more to go :)

The Merkley"s
We both moved to the Washington DC area in January 2005. We met at a party shortly after we moved there. Our roommates started dating each other, so we began spending time together as their wingmen. In April of that year we all four took a trip to Puerto Rico, and there Brendon and Taryn had their first kiss and began dating. Brendon went home to meet Taryn's family that August, and when Brendon hit a clay pigeon with a 22 rifle Taryn was sold! We left Washington DC in June 2008 to return to campus life. Brendon is getting his Masters in Business Administration at Stanford University, and Taryn is more than thrilled to be living in her home state of California again!

Love the blocks!! Cute fabric!! I had the most random dream about you guys last night~ I dreamt you had a baby girl and she was absolutely beautiful (like her Mommy) and then all the sudden you had another baby. They were like 3 months apart it looked like. I didn't know the sex of this one~ Just a random dream but I wanted to share it! FUNNY!!
Ahh your squares/lines are so straight! Are you sure you want my square next to those???
