I decided to chop it up and sew it onto a cardigan. I bought this aqua cardigan from Old Navy, carefully snipped up the doily (I was so nervous it would unravel...but after studying it I figured out the places I could dissect it successfully) and hand-stiched pieces of it onto the collar of my sweater.
I love how it turned out. I love the bright colors of the doily, and I just love the crocheted yellow roses!
